Covid-19 Update

The safety of our guests, owners and employees is of upmost importance to us and we would like to reassure our guests that we have a strict cleaning protocol in place between bookings.

Cleaning Protocol

Each caravan holiday home is thoroughly cleaned and disinfected between bookings and cleaners adhere to guidelines provided by the self catering industry to enable all providers to operate safely. Throughout your holiday home, all surfaces, including light switches, door handles, kitchen surfaces, and bathroom surfaces are disinfected so that they are safe to touch.

What is our COVID-19 refund/cancellation policy?

COVID19 – Full cash refunds will only be offered in the event the holiday park is closed resulting in us not being able to provide you with your holiday accommodation and not in the event of the holiday park facilities being not fully available. In the event of a localised lockdown preventing, you from travelling we would move your booking to a later date, subject to availability.

  1. General
    We thank you for choosing to book with Perran Escapes and we hope that you enjoy your stay. We
    shall do everything reasonably expected of us as hosts, however we cannot be held responsible
    should illness occur, COVID or otherwise during your stay. When making this booking you are
    doing so at your own risk and entering a contract with us so please take the time to read the
    conditions of booking below.
  2. Bookings and Deposit
    No more than the number of persons stated on the booking form may occupy the property. Should
    you exceed the maximum occupancy we have the right to ask you to leave and no refund will be
    given. Whilst most of our caravans are dog friendly, we have some which are strictly not. Should
    you fail to state upon booking that you are bringing a dog and are staying in one of our non-dog
    friendly caravans, we reserve the right to ask you to leave and no refund will be given. No other pets are permitted.
    Perran Sands Holiday Park is a family friendly park and same sex groups are not permitted. Should
    a group be identified that clearly does not match the guest breakdown we reserve the right to ask
    you to leave and no refund will be given.
    The holiday occupancy may not be transferred to another person or sold on without our permission
    or knowledge.
    For access to the swimming pool, clubs, leisure, and entertainment facilities on site you will need to
    purchase passes. These can be purchased from Haven once you have arrived (prices vary
    throughout the year and are not included in the rental price).
    A 25% non-refundable deposit secures your booking, and the balance must be paid 1 month prior to
    your arrival date. The due date for the holiday balance will be set out on the Booking Confirmation.
    Reminders of this date will be issued. If you book inside the 1 month, payment must be made in full
    at the time of booking.
    A £100 refundable security deposit is added to the cost of the caravan, which is to cover any
    damage, breakages or breaches of our terms and conditions during your stay. This will be refunded
    within one week of departure following successful inspection. Where possible we will refund this to
    the payment card used to pay the final balance on your booking. Where this is not possible payment
    will be made by bank transfer.
  3. Cancellation of Booking
    Should you wish to cancel your booking at any stage, please note that your 25% booking deposit is
    non-refundable. If your cancellation is within 1 month of your arrival date, the full balance is
    considered payable and would also be considered non-refundable.
    COVID19 – Full cash refunds will only be offered in the event of the holiday park being closed

    of the holiday park facilities being not fully available. In the event of a localised lockdown
    preventing, you from travelling we would move your booking to a later date, subject to availability.In the unlikely event of the accommodation becoming unavailable and we must cancel your
    booking we would endeavour to find you a suitable alternative. Any monies paid in advance would
    be refunded. We cannot however pay any expenses or compensation because of such an event.
  4. Amendment to Booking
    Basic amendments to a booking such as number of guests staying, add/remove a pet or alterations to
    contact details will be made free of charge. Significant amendments made within 3 months or your
    arrival date including changing the date of stay, changing to a different caravan or both the above
    will be treated as a cancellation. Significant amendments made more than 3 months from your
    arrival date will be subject to a £50 amendment fee to cover the administrative costs involved.
  5. Method of Payment
    Payment can be made by Debit/Credit Card via our secure payment portal. A Bank Transfer or
    Cheque can also be accepted. An emailed booking confirmation will be provided with a booking
    summary attached confirming the payment received.
  6. Arrivals & Departures
    Key collection on arrival is from the key safe located at the caravan, the code to which will be
    provided by email with other arrival information 7 days prior to arrival, provided the booking has
    been fully paid for.
    You may have access to the from 3pm on the day of arrival. Whilst we appreciate that you may have
    had a long journey, possibly setting off early to avoid traffic and all you would want to do is to get
    into your caravan, please respect the check in time as we want your holiday to start in the best
    possible way and for you not to arrive at a caravan before we have finished preparing it for you. If
    you do enter before the check in time, you may forfeit the caravan being cleaned and we will not
    accept any complaints due to this.
  7. Damages & Breakages
    We would ask that you take care of our property. Upon arrival, should you notice any damage or
    there is anything you are not happy with you should report this to us immediately in order that we
    can resolve the issue. Please also report any breakages or damage as soon as it occurs.
    We reserve the right to charge you for repair, replacement or excessive cleaning costs incurred
    following departure. The caravan is strictly no smoking. We also reserve the right to withhold the
    security deposit if we consider that smoking has taken place inside the caravan. Similarly, should
    we discover after departure that a pet has stayed in one of our non-pet friendly caravans, we reserve
    the right to withhold the security deposit to cover the cost of a deep clean.
  8. Liability
    We would ask that you respect occupants in neighbouring properties and act in such a way as to not
    cause offence. We do not accept liability for any accident, injury, loss or damage to guests’
    possessions, vehicles, or contents. Please do not leave children unattended or allow them to play
    with the window blinds/cords.
  9. ComplaintsIt is our wish that you have an enjoyable stay with us, but should you encounter any problems then
    please notify us immediately.
  10. Privacy Policy
    Personal data is only used for the purpose for which you provide it. We may also disclose your data
    to Camp Stead Ltd (our booking system provider) who may contact you inviting you to complete a
    questionnaire and review your stay at the park. Your information will never be passed to third
    parties unless we are obliged to do so by law.
  11. Authority to Sign
    The person who completes the Booking Form certifies that:
    • He or she is authorised to agree the Booking Conditions on behalf of all persons staying.
    • He or she is over eighteen years of age and a member of the party staying.
    • He or she agrees to take responsibility for the party occupying the property.

We have a Saturday changeover day & provide holidays of either 7 or 14 nights. If you’d like to stay for 21 nights, please contact us to discuss. We do not provide for part weeks.

Our check-in time is 3.00 pm and our check-out time is 10.00 am. All our caravans have key safes containing the key.

You will need to bring your own duvet covers, pillowcases and sheets unless the caravan states bed linen included. You should also bring your own towels & tea towels.

There are beach access points in the park. Please take care as the access to the beach is via a steep pathway. You can also walk from the park along the coast path into Perranporth.

Perranporth and the park are particularly dog friendly. The beach is also dog friendly, however during the months of July and August, you must keep your dog on a lead between the hours of 10am & 5pm.

The park opens on the 22nd March and closes on 31st October.

To secure a booking today we ask for a 25% deposit.
